Q:I saw you post something about Cree classes awhile back. Is it okay if a non-native or a native not from that tribe, takes the class?

Anonymous

I always thought it was cool for anyone who wanted to learn Cree to be able to, and actually, the two guys who teach the classes are both University Cree teachers, so you could come from the other side of the world to their school and learn Cree, and it’s the same for the web class as well.

“There is no race requirement for learning Cree,” were Mr. Okemaysim’s words on the matter. As long as you have an interest, you’re in.

So yeah, anyone from anywhere, learn Cree here every Thursday at 7:00pm CST :)
